Stephen Hawking Fan for Life

Today's inspiration is Stephen Hawking. I read this article on 80 Beats about the man who maintains Hawking's voice. Although I regularly ponder Hawking's distinctive voice, I'd never given thought to the maintenance behind it, never mind that it could become obsolete. The science behind Hawking's voice, and ensuring that he keeps his own very specific and personal voice as technology changes, is almost as fascinating as the work Hawking does himself (almost).

I think my next embroidery piece should be the fictionalized version of Stephen Hawking from The Simpsons.
